Innovating Energy brings together an experienced team who are committed to develop specialised Waste to Energy projects producing Clean Green Baseload Gas and Electricity aligning with the World's Initiatives for Industry and Agriculture.

The founders recognised the potential of amalgamating proven power and process heat generation systems, with emerging Waste to Energy technology that would convert liability wastes into real value reducing landfill, generating renewable gas and electricity and improving environmental outcomes.

LISA RAWLINSON

ORGANIC WASTE SPECIALIST – ADVISOR

Lisa is the Founder and Managing Director of Loop Organics, an Australian company that applies best practice to innovative waste solutions and biosolids management.  Lisa is an agricultural scientist with over 28 years of experience in wastewater management, specialising in biosolids and effluent recycling. From 1989 to 1994 Lisa worked for Sydney Water’s technical team which established Sydney Water’s biosolids beneficial use program. As a consultant Lisa has been involved in the development of the Victorian, NSW, Queensland, Tasmanian and Western Australian Biosolids Guidelines and numerous biosolids management strategies for water authorities in Australia and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Lisa has been a director and project manager for biosolids and organic waste management companies for over 20 years and has a Master of Science in Agriculture & Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Agriculture.

PHILIP LINK

ENERGY LINK SERVICES | CARBON TRADING SPECIALIST

Philip Link has qualifications in economics and environmental management and has over 15 years’ experience in business strategy, energy, and economics. His extensive advisory experience spans across all aspects of emissions, carbon, energy & sustainability. Philip has consulted many of Australia’s largest companies in sectors such as shipping and transport, oil & gas, IT, petrochemicals, water, manufacturing, and mining. He has managed, and continues to manage, engineering teams to complete detailed emissions reporting, Type 2 and 3 energy audits and develop/prepare compliance systems/processes and assist with reporting under emissions and energy reporting frameworks including NGERs, Climate Active, the ERF, the Safeguard Mechanism, the NSW ESS, and the Victorian Energy Upgrade Scheme.

BENJAMIN KEILLER

CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER – ADVISOR

Benjamin is the Director and Founder of Australian Hydrothermal and completed his PhD in Hydrothermal Carbonisation (HTC) in 2020 at the University of Adelaide and completed his MBA whilst lecturing in Biotechnology. His vision for home grown HTC industry led him to become accept a position as a professor lecturing in HTC and Biotechnology at Adelaide University, bringing HTC out of the lab and into the real world to solve significant waste challenges. Ben’s time in his role at Adelaide Uni split with his CTO position at Innovating Energy. Ben has published multiple papers on HTC in International journals and in 2019 was a guest speaker at the 2nd International Symposium of Hydrothermal Carbonisation in Berlin.
